IT Technicians

Range of skills include: software loading, connectivity support, moves/changes and patching, basic upgrades (memory, expansion cards etc). These technicians are capable of multi-site support as they are provided with vehicles and mobile phones.

IT Engineers

NT, Novell and OS2 configuration, Customisation of email applications, Hardware fix to component level. Hub, Switch and router configuration, Network Design.

Project Engineers

IT and communications based engineers with co-ordination experience, good customer facing skills, roll-out planning.

Project Administration Support

Efficient organisers with office application skills and previous experience of large projects.

We also operate an internal recruitment department within AVC (Europe) with a continually updated database of over 2000 IT and Communications engineers who are called upon during times of high activity. These people are employed directly by AVC for the duration of any given project

This system has worked extremely well for AVC in the past. We can normally resource projects of up to 25 staff within a week and have been known to beat that on occasions.

Total Solution

We are proud to say that over the last few years AVC has developed a portfolio of products and services that enable us to offer a true end-to-end communication solution. Where normally a number of partners would carry out different tasks within any given project, AVC is, in many cases: installing cabling, hubs/switches/routers, providing off site configuration of hardware, on-site installation and configuration, patching and asset management services. This gives both a direct cost saving and lower project management overheads.
